My roll

Leading roll & iterate the concept. I was in charge of the bottom half of the page and the presentation.

Common studio is in need of a new PDP/product page. Required functionality and data points from PIM were listed in a MoSCow-sheet.
Focus is on finding the balance between conversion and design/brand awareness. Designs should be presented in mobile. Brand application and UI vision/values should be presented and coherent with design. Design choices should be motivated in best practice/UX. Accessibility and color contrast is a must.
We employed the MoSCoW method to ensure that the most crucial information finds its place on the front page.

The process consisted of worked with both Hick's and Jacob's law to make sure the customer got to the checkout in as few clicks as possible and to keep the format of online shopping that the target audience often uses.

As the target audience was young adults, we could be more free with the design and experiment with the trendy grid-design.
We want to create a site that gives a feeling of premium with quality products & a youthful and trendy look. Black and white gives a feeling of quality, safety and is classic, while the neonyellow stands out and gives a memorable impression.

Result

There is many aspects to consider in a e-commers and a lot of elements that need to be corporated in the design of a phone screen.
This project made me understand the importancys of userfriendly design and made me really practice how to make a shopping journey less complicated. I also learned that grid-design is less forgiving and that it might take me a while befor I try something similar again.
